There are 52 villages in the Musninkai eldership of which Vileikiškiai, Juodoniai and Viršuliškiai are the larger ones. The center of the eldership is the town of Musninkai.
The area of the eldership is 5,932 ha.
There are about 1,003 inhabitants.
- A neo-Gothic church stands in the center of the town. Father Alfonsas Petrulis the signatory of the February 16th Act of Independence that has moved to Musninkai in the last years of his life is buried in this cemetery.
- From the materials of the demolished old wooden church in 1868 a bell tower was built under which the tomb of the landowner M. Podbereskis family was placed.
- Barbora chapel is one of the most important symbols of Musninkai town. The monument standing on the outskirts of the town is associated with the name of Barbora Radvilaitė. On the high terrace above the Musė river a wooden chapel was built in honor of St. Barbora. It had two floors: on the lower one - the Saviour bent under the cross and in the second - St. Statues of Barbora. In the XVIII century the current brick chapel was built on the site of the old chapel.
- To commemorate Barbora Radvilaitė in Musninkai a baroque style chapel was built in the XVI century. During the XVIII century the current one was built in place of the old one. The chapel has been renovated. In 1986 copies of the sculptures made according to the project of the sculptor G. Karalius were built.
- Impressive Narvydiškis manor homestead. During the XV – XVI centuries the homestead belonged to the famous Kęsgaliai noble family of that time. Later the estate was managed by the Radvilai family. In the first half of the XIX century - Andžejevskiai and in the second – Jasinskai estates. During the XIX century brick manor house with two floors, with an attic and eclectic shapes was built. The palace is surrounded by a park with a large pond with an island.
- The Narvydiškis manor homestead is included in the Register of Cultural Values. Alvidas Buklys, who bought the manor in the year of independence not only restored the palace but also built additional structures on the manor territory - a veranda for banquets and a cloister with 20 bedrooms. The park of the manor with high lasting value has been restored. The park is rich in nature and is decorated with a pond with a bridge leading to the island. In 1958 the park was declared under state protection and in 1986 it was classified as a natural monument of local significance. According to ornithologists, Narvydiškis is the only area where storks do not live in families as usual but in flocks. Therefore, the surroundings of Narvydiškis manor are deservedly called the capital of storks by ornithologists.
- From the materials of the demolished old wooden church in 1868 a belfry was built under which the grave of the estate collector M. Podbereskis family was placed. Various exhibitions are organized in the bell tower.
- Paširvintis belonged to the Musninkai manor known since 1442 and the end of the XIX century during the reign of General Mizaras the central palace and other buildings were built. Only the houses of the workers and the farm building remained. The manor park in the beautiful Širvinta river valley was established at the end of XIX century. Most of the trees growing there are either native to the area or introduced from Italy. In 1958 the park was declared under state protection and in 1986 was classified as a natural monument of local significance. The manor's residential building and park are included in the Register of Cultural Values.
