There are 47 villages in the Alionys eldership. The biggest ones are Juodiškiai, Trapeliai, Vičiūnai. The centre of Alionys – Alionys I village.
Area – 15,000 ha.
About 705 inhabitants reside in this eldership.
- In the eldership stands Alionys church, a unique and only church built in this area made out of logs - built in 1794 and was reconstructed in 1932. Famous iron crosses of this church, during the end of XIX century and the start of the XX century, were installed in the towers of the main and rear facades.
- One of the most interesting objects of the precinct is the Juodiškiai manor, which is located near Giedraičiai - Širvintos roadway. The history of the manor dates back to the XVI century. The homestead complex consists of a gentleman's house, an ice cream parlor, fragments of a park, part of a building, and a barn. Fragments of the homestead are included in the register of cultural values.
- To the east of the eldership centre is the Alionys telmological reserve, established in 1974. The total perimeter of the area is 2096 ha. The reserve contains the high marsh of Alionys bog, the largest lake in the Širvintos district – Alio lake (146 ha), a cranberry grove and a forest in the surrounding area.
- Folk painter Julijonas Gridziuška lives in the village of Alionys, who established a park of sculptures in his homestead.
- Since 2011 a hiking and sports club "Dumblas" was operating in the village of Pamusė of Alionys eldership. The club organizes recreational hikes, obstacle course competitions, and the extreme running with obstacles "Bebro kelias" which is known throughout Lithuania.
